John wanted a new pair of sunglasses with RX.
He wanted them to have a contemporary modern design to provide maximum protection and also adapt to the frequent changes in weather (sunny and cloudy) he experiences in Switzerland where he lives.
We ended up with the brand new Oakley Latch Beta in the limited edition “93 Marquez” (since Oakley is Marquez’s sponsor in Moto GP) in matte gray that comes “from factory” with gray Prizm lenses with a gunmetal mirror.
The lenses were replaced with Essilor Ormix 1.60 As Transitions XTRActive Gris Style Mirrors Silver.
The Style Mirrors at night are 93% discolored (almost transparent) and during the day depending on the lighting conditions they darken up to 70% and because of the mirror the factory shiny look of the Oakley has been maintained
They offer sharp vision due to the increase in contrast they provide.
They provide full protection for the eyes, due to their chromocrystals, which, without altering the colors (not even white), protect 100% from UV radiation and from the harmful spectrum of blue light.
Furthermore, they have an impressive double appearance: indoors and at night they are almost completely transparent, while whenever we are outdoors or in the car during the day they turn dark with a silver mirror thus maintaining the factory shiny look of Oakley.
